On the 28th of October, 2018 MMF celebrated its 20 years of serving the society. The celebrations marked a journey of empowering & transforming lives, spreading hope and happiness to the underprivileged and weaker sections of society.
The grand event at the JW Marriott, Pune aimed to raise funds for the many initiatives across various sectors including healthcare, education, social welfare, skill development, water & environment conservation and sanitation.
Apart from well known personalities from Corporate sector, the occasion was graced by the valuable presence of the following eminent personalities
Amrutaji Fadnavis, a social activist (wife of Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Devendra ji Fadnavis)
Commissioner of Police, Pune Mr. K Venkatesham
Padmabhushan – Dr. S.B Mujumdar, Founder and President of Symbiosis Society – a multinational educational and cultural centre and Chancellor of Symbiosis International University,
Padmavibhushan – Dr. K.H Sancheti, Founder of Sancheti Institute of Orthopedics and
Bollywood star, Model and beauty queen who was crowned Miss Intercontinental 1997 and Miss Universe 2000, Lara Dutta.

Wonderful performances were showcased by the students of Mukul Madhav Vidyalaya – Ratnagiri, Kothrud girls blind school, Koregaon boys blind school and differently abled from Nigdi Apang Sansta. This was followed by the appearance of 2 Cerebral Palsy girls Ms. Arpita and Ms. Priyanka whom MMF supported financially thereby supporting their surgery and helping them become financially independent.
The latter half of the evening witnessed a sensational performance by Prem Joshua and band alongside international choreographer “Sandip Soparkar’s troop”
The event concluded with an auction where autographed memorablia from Manchester United and Indian cricketers Hardik Pandya and M S Dhoni. In addition kindly donated paintings by photographer Raffique Sayeed and jewellery donated by Mr. Hirawat was also put up for bid.
The proceeds from the auction as well as sale of passes will be utilized to support MMF’s on going projects , namely- training women plumbers, sponsoring students for Radiology, funding cataract surgeries for paediatric and senior citizens. Extending and expanding support to primary health centers in Rural Satara for training ASHA and ANM Nurses, sponsoring cochlear implants, heart surgeries, mid-day-meals for school children, health camps, educational scholarships, medical assistance and support to over 900 Cerebral Palsy patients in Satara district and Ratnagiri.
